Forming an image
When an object marker is transformed in a lens or mirror, an image of that object is created.
Key points:
- A real image is drawn using a solid line; a virtual image is drawn using a dashed line. The direction of the arrow shows the
orientation of the image.
- When an image contains virtual and real parts, both parts are shown but are not connected.
- When an object is transformed using several devices, all the intermediate images formed are displayed.
- The intensity of the image depends on the number of rays leaving an object marker and hitting the corresponding point on the
image. The intensity varies between bright green (ray count = 100%) and black (ray count = 0).
- You can hide intermediate images and intensity in the object marker's Properties pane.
